Poshmark fee calculator

Estimate what Poshmark takes on a US or Canada sale, including seller-funded shipping discounts, and whether pricing under the flat-fee threshold hurts your effective rate. Nothing is uploaded.

US rates from Poshmark Fee Policy / Guide: flat $2.95 under $15, or 20% at $15 and above. No separate listing or payment-processing fee. Shipping discounts reduce your payout dollar-for-dollar. Rates change. Confirm on Poshmark Support.

How the numbers work

Poshmark’s current US seller fee (after the short-lived October 2024 1-2-3 experiment was reverted) is a two-tier commission with payment processing included:

Example (US): $50 sale, no shipping discount. Seller fee 20% = $10.00. You keep $40.00 before product cost. Same item at $14: fee stays $2.95 (21.1% effective). At $15 the fee is $3.00 (20%) — often a better deal than sitting just under the cliff.

FAQ

Is Poshmark still 20%, or did they switch to 5.99%?

The October 2024 1-2-3 / 5.99% structure was rolled back within weeks after seller backlash. Current US practice documented across Poshmark’s Guide and Fee Policy references is again $2.95 under $15 and 20% at $15+. Confirm the live policy in Poshmark Support before you price inventory.

Does the 20% include payment processing?

Yes. Unlike Etsy or eBay’s layered final-value + processing model, Poshmark’s seller fee is all-in for the core sale. There is no separate card-processing line in the standard US flow.

Should I avoid pricing under $15?

Often yes if you can clear $15. Under $15 the flat $2.95 can mean an effective rate above 20%. Use the cliff note above the breakdown when your price sits in that band.

Do shipping discounts change the commission base?

The seller fee is based on the item sale / offer price. A shipping discount is an extra dollar reduction from your payout, not a change to the 20% / $2.95 rule. This calculator subtracts it separately so you see both hits.

Is this exact to the penny Poshmark will take?

No. It is an estimate from published US/Canada fee rules as of mid-2026. Promoted Closet, overweight label upgrades, hazmat non-compliance charges, refunds, and Canada tax on fees can change the real balance. Confirm on Poshmark Support and in your order earnings.
