Depop fee calculator
US Depop sellers pay no selling commission. Estimate processing (and optional Boost) on a sale, and what you keep. Nothing is uploaded.
Breakdown
How the numbers work
For a typical US Depop Payments sale, Depop does not take a selling commission. The only mandatory fee is payment processing:
- 3.3% + $0.45 on item price + shipping charged + any tax Depop collects.
- 0% selling fee for sellers in the US, UK, and Australia (removed in 2024).
- Optional Boost 12% only when a Boosted listing sells. Base is item price (no tax). Shipping is included in that Boost base only if you arranged shipping yourself instead of a Depop label.
Example: a $40 item + $5 shipping, no tax, no Boost. Processing = 3.3% of $45 + $0.45 = $1.94. You keep $43.06 before product cost. The same sale under the old 10% selling fee would have cost about $4.00 in commission alone.
FAQ
Does Depop still take 10%?
Not for US, UK, or Australia sellers. Depop Help lists no selling fee for those countries. You still pay payment processing. Sellers outside those countries (and selling in other currencies) can still see a 10% selling fee.
Is processing charged on shipping?
Yes. The US processing fee is on item sale price plus shipping costs and any applicable taxes.
When do I pay the 12% Boost fee?
Only if you opt into Boosted Listings and that boosted listing sells. It is not charged on every sale. Uncheck Boost (or leave “Not boosted”) for a normal listing.
Is this exact to the penny Depop will take?
No. It is an estimate using published US rates from Depop Help. Currency conversion, refunds, PayPal (non–Depop Payments) setups, and policy updates can change the payout. Check Depop’s Seller fees and charges page.
