Bonanza seller fee calculator

Estimate Bonanza fees after the May 1, 2025 rate change — Final Offer Value (item + shipping over $10), 11%+ final value fee with a $0.50 floor, optional $0.25 transaction fee, and the $4,000 / 1.5% high-ticket cliff. Nothing is uploaded.

Bonanza Pricing (Help Center, updated June 2, 2025): Final Value Fee uses Final Offer Value (FOV) = item price + any shipping over $10. Effective May 1, 2025, standard booths pay a minimum 11% of FOV (or your selected advertising %). Orders over $4,000 FOV add 1.5% on the excess. Minimum FVF $0.50. Non-members also pay $0.25 per sale. Rates change — confirm in Seller Hub before you price.

How the numbers work

Bonanza’s quirky part is the Final Offer Value — not every competitor calculator gets this right:

Example: $50 item + $12 shipping, 11% standard, non-member. FOV = $50 + $2 = $52. FVF = max(11% × $52, $0.50) = $5.72. Transaction = $0.25. Total fees = $5.97. You keep $44.03 before product and packing (buyer shipping is collected then spent on the label).

Floor cliff: below about $4.55 FOV at 11%, the $0.50 minimum beats the percentage. Cheap listings plus the $0.25 transaction fee can erase thin margins.

FAQ

Does Bonanza charge fees on shipping?

Only the portion of buyer-paid shipping above $10 enters the Final Offer Value. The first $10 of shipping is excluded from FVF. That is different from eBay (typically item + full shipping + tax) and Facebook Marketplace shipped checkout (item + shipping + tax).

Is the base rate still 3.5%?

No for new standard booth math. Bonanza’s Pricing article (updated June 2, 2025) states that effective May 1, 2025 the Final Value Fee increased to a minimum of 11% for standard booths. Older “Economy 3.5%” / “Basic 9%” copy still appears on some advertising FAQ pages — if your booth still shows a different percentage, use Custom % and confirm in Seller Hub.

When does the $0.50 minimum apply?

Whenever your percentage of FOV is less than $0.50. At 11%, that is FOV under about $4.55. The $0.25 transaction fee (non-members) is separate and still stacks.

How does the $4,000 rule work?

On FOV over $4,000, Bonanza charges your selected percentage on the first $4,000, then a flat 1.5% on the amount above $4,000. Example from Bonanza: $5,000 at 11% → $440 + $15 = $455 FVF (before the $0.25 transaction fee).

What about the $14.99 setup fee and listing fees?

New booth activation may include a non-refundable $14.99 setup fee. Booths with more than 50 active listings can pay $0.03 per extra listing per month (capped at $20/month). Those are account-level costs, not modeled on a single sale here.

Is this exact to the penny Bonanza will take?

No. It is an estimate from Bonanza Pricing (FOV definition, May 1, 2025 FVF minimum 11%, $0.50 min FVF, $4,000 / 1.5% excess, $0.25 non-member transaction fee). Bonanza Promotions may calculate FVF on the full base price even above $4,000. Refunds, membership SKUs, and ads attribution can change the real bill. Confirm the fee preview in your Bonanza seller tools before you commit to a price.
